The storytelling festival is a Kenyan event that is a collaboration amongst digital queer activists in partnership with different grassroots organizations. We aim to create digital advocacy through holding storytelling events that bring individuals from diverse backgrounds for conversations, and sharing real life stories highlighting experiences that are related to the topic of each event.
Our storytelling festival celebrates oral storytelling with modern /traditional stories, personal true stories, poetry and so much more. Promoting the sharing of values and cultures that connect us together, the Festival also honors the many African cultural traditions that are in Kenya.
