The Queer Library is a physical and digital collection of LGBTQ+ books, ebooks, titles and films purchased with the intent of sharing them within the queer community in Kenya. We focus on building a vibrant, flourishing queer future by connecting LGBTQ+ people with literature, information, and resources that celebrate the unique and empowering diversity of our community.
Our campaign initiatives are designed to promote inclusiveness, with a special emphasis on Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Queer (LGBTQ+) minorities.
Through our online campaigns, we endeavor to eliminate barriers and challenge perceptions which adversely affect mental, work and skills development opportunities for marginalized groups.
The storytelling festival is a Kenyan event that is a collaboration amongst digital queer activists in partnership with different grassroots organizations.
We hold talks with law students and enlighten them on LGBTQ+ matters and LGBTQ+ refugee rights. The talk provides an overview of approaches that the students can use to improve conversations about LGBTQ+ equality and non-discrimination with a focus on emphasizing protection of LGBTQ+ refugees.
We organize events so as to create a free space to socialize without worrying about being abused, misunderstood or ridiculed.
