About us

We are a queer-led organization dedicated to telling queer stories and holding crucial conversations to advocate for LGBTQ+ rights. Our platform goes beyond storytelling—we are a hub for education, activism, and dialogue.

Through our work, we engage with critical social, cultural, and legal issues impacting queer lives. Whether we’re sharing personal narratives, sparking dialogue on policy change, or offering resources for support, WTQ is committed to creating spaces where queer individuals can thrive and be heard.

Mission of wanjiku talks queer

Mission

Our mission is to amplify the voices of Kenya’s LGBTQ+ community through storytelling, education, and advocacy. We strive to create inclusive spaces where queer experiences are shared, celebrated, and used as tools for social change, while challenging misconceptions and fighting for equal rights and representation.

Vision

We envision a future where LGBTQ+ individuals in Kenya and beyond are fully empowered, respected, and supported. Through our work, we aim to build a society where queer voices are heard, diversity is celebrated, and justice and equality are upheld for all.
